Great new band

I don't know if you guys have heard of this band or not. The local radio station I listen to "discovered" them and the whole city of Memphis is fascinated with them. They combine old pop and heavy metal songs. Very talented. Very fun music. I think their website is the only place you can get thier CD. I'm ordering it right now.

Stopped to put a couple of gallons in the rental so I would have enough to get it back to the dealership. Unlocked the doors, got out and pushed on the gas filler door....nothing! I tried again and again. Went back in the car and made sure the doors were unlocked, got back out and pushed and pushed on the filler door again. It wasn't budging. Called the dealership (thank goodness someone was still there). Told the guy what I was doing. He just giggled. He said, you usually drive a coupe don't you? I said yes. He said on the sedan you push the other side of the door. I felt like an idiot!!

Alright, so this one's not in such great shape, looks like who ever had it before me ran over something or went off in the grass or something. The bottom couple rows are pretty banged up, but it's a big IC so it still has a lot of effective cooling area, it would be good for a budget build.

I guess I'm old skool ... I like my B&M T-Handle, so I put it back on. I had a Hurst shifter with their T-handle on a few older cars. Ergonomically I love it! Besides, it feels at home with the B&M short shifter.

Things I've noticed since I bought the Versa are:

1.) Only 1 Key (dealership claims they don't have another one)
- Is my only solution to buy one off eBay then have it cut and programmed?

2.) Tow hook missing from jack tools
- Is the only solution to buy another OEM one? Will a dealership give me one for a used vehicle?

3.) No cargo cover (which I believe should be in an 2008 SL?)
- These seem over-priced for what they are. Think I'm just going to end up getting dark tint in the future

4.) Spare tire has next to no tread
- Anyone know the size of this? I'd like to have a reliable spare.

5.) Small specks of red paint scattered on body (looks like they tried to remove some off the trunk with a knife)
- Just used my thumbnail on the specks on the body and a window scraper on the ones on the glass. Not sure what to use on the rubber/plastic moldings.

I am going to Tennessee to buy a 1990 2402x coupe

The problem is he says the gas gauge doesn't work... I live in FLORIDA!

Driving home with no knowledge of my fuel level wont be fun..

Is there an easy fix or something I can do to fix it...

hey man! am new to this..

well i got a nissan 200sx CA18DET engine..

my car wont start but cranks.. i checked evryting seems to b fine..
last night i was driving and it was all smooth n good n starting in one crank..
the next morning refused to start..

ok i checked evrrything, electricals and tested currents on lead wires n also did the diagnostic test wit ECU and i got code 55 no malfunctions..

i dont understand why no spark and no mulfunctions code 55 would show on diagnostic

can anyone please help!!! cheers..

N62 maf issue.....

after wiring up a z32 maf and pigtail to my rb25 powered 240 the car would not start. Its putting out max voltage of 5.11 with just the key on....the problem is intermittent.

Is the maf bad?? all wiring has been triple checked and everything is good.

any input would be appreciated. I need to know if I need to return this thing or not...

Hey everybody, I was just wondering whats everyone's opinion on nitrous? Safe on a Z32 or steer clear ? If so whats a safe amount to be running on stock internals? What's better wet or dry for our specific application (z32)? I've heard wet is better (that's what she said) but I'm still not certain. Thanks for your guys help!

Protecting the rear camera from dirt

has any of you fellow muranians figured out how to protect the camera lens from getting dirty? The roads up here are filled with salt, mud and snow and the camera goes completely blurry after a 5 km ride.

Hi im new to this site and i have a question.Im a heavy DIY and i just bought a 1994 q45 the guy told me that the only problem was the starter well i put that on and to my suprise the car puts out white smoke. I let it run for about 30 minutes because it was sittin up for about a year but its still smokin not to bad and has a skip.I wanted to know is this signs of a head gasket i dropped the oil and there was no water mixed nor was the coolant mixed with oil i looked under the oil fill cap and its not milky at all. what could it probably be

So ive listened to what everyone was telling me. and im swaping a 5sp into my car.
I havnt let you guys know what I have been up to in a while so here it goes.
I got a 5sp outta a 1994 king cab (2WD) with wiring for 100 bucks
got a 240sx driveshaft (no abs) s13 for 100 bucks
picking up a new clutch kit on friday for 157.00
possiblily short throw shifter for 80.00
im going to build my own crossmember tospec because i cant find one.
anybody have any questions or comments? I hopin this pickup tranny will be the same (or close to it) cuz i need my daily driver back.
fyi i swaped out the motor cuz mine started to knock (.5 million km) then the tranny went not more then 3 hours after the motor was in

1987 Pathfinder SE 4X4 VG30i Headers

We're rebuilding my VG30i engine on my 1987 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4X4. Due to issues removing the manifold, it was mentioned installing headers.
Does anyone know if headers are available for this engine/vehicle?
I went to Pace Setter and found 1990-1995, but not 1987-1989.

Clunking noise when turning or taking ramps

When im turning i hear a clunking noise in the front right wheel. Only when im going at probably 30-40km but at slow speeds i dont hear anything. The first time i heard this i checked the tire and it was rubbing against my suspensions. It was not like this the first few months i got it. So i put some spacers in theres for temporary so they dont rub any further.
I searched around and found it might be my ball joint in my control arm?
Does that sound right? if so should i just replace the ball joint or replace the whole control arm?

Mercury Villager VG30E Headers

I know there are people here that know the VG30E inside and out, so I thought I would ask this question here. Will 1994 Maxima Headers fit a 1995 Mercury Villager(same as 95 Quest)? Both vehicles have the 3.0 VG30E that sits transverse. I used the CAI from a 95 maxima and it worked great and added a noticable gain in performance. Just wondering if anyone knows offhand if the headers will bolt up? I bet you have never gotten this question before. Thanks for reading this far.

he said he will take $300 for the motor. my question is can i put my
header
injectors
and MAF on it and run it as an N/A until i get the money for everything it needs??? because my motor is going south fast
and would there be any kind of hp gains from having forged internals and a rebuilt head???

hi folks looking to buy a 05 pathfinder of the "le" persuasion . do you folks have any advice ,things to look for, etc. also what would be a decent price for a le without sunroof with about 70k on it? also about the sunroof i thought it was standard on le models? i was also wondering if there is a RCA input on the radio somewhere?i will probably have a couple more questions but this is a good start i think.

Hi guys,
I have an 03 track Z, w/o motor, I just got a 2005 aniversary short block, I am told this is basically the o6 motor, it has the 2 rear cam senosors as well as the 2 front cam facers, my 03 did not have the front cam facers.
Can I make this engine run in the 03 with the stock ecu and harness?
Please share info.

Battery relocation questions

I have everything I need to move my battery to the back. But I've read that you should use a dry cell battery. Is that just because the acid might leak out? Or is it because being inside the sealed cabin will create some health/safety issues ie... dissolving my lungs or blowing me up when I smoke.
Second question, how should I set up my grounds? I tried to do this once just to see if it would work, I had the engine bay grounds all bolted down to the chassis and the battery grounded in the back of the car. When I went to start it up, there wasn't enough power to turn it over at full speed. It was like my battery was drained or something. What could be the problem?
